POSITION SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout Bayless. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with hiring managers on recruiting by scheduling planning meetings, developing staffing spreadsheets and other matrixes to determine success in filling roles.
  • Create job descriptions. Post open positions in online venues, with professional organizations and in other appropriate venues.
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
  • Oversee the staffing vendor partner relationships and make recommendations for new partnerships.
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions. Become the “face” of Bayless at job fairs, academic events, conferences and networking groups.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need. Conduct online searches for recruiting passive candidates.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Build social networks to find qualified active and passive candidates.
  • Develop reporting to determine time to fill, cost per hire, turnover and make recommendations for improvement to Chief People Officer.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required. One to three years’ experience recruiting in a healthcare and/or behavioral health setting required.
  • PHR Designation a Plus
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, Power Point and MS project required
  • Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills a must.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, so as to maximize time to communicate with candidates before/after hours, and on occasional weekends.

Tools and Equipment Requirements:

  • The ability to use a phone, computer, printer, and copier is required.
  • Frequent use of Microsoft office products, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to use the internet and various web browser software is required.

Physical Working Conditions and Office Setting Description:

  • Some travel required to field locations to facilitate execution of responsibilities. Must provide proof of a valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance with, at minimum, state required insurance levels.
  • Requires prolonged sitting, standing, frequent bending, stooping, or stretching.
  • Some lifting may be required.
  • Frequent and prolonged typing and frequent and prolonged operation of computer, keyboard, and telephones required.
  • Requires occasional use of fax machines, telephones, copiers, and other office equipment.
  • Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
