Dr. Rajiv Patel
Interim CEODr. Rajiv Patel is the President of Health Care Enterprises Provider Strategy at Centene Corporation. He currently leads both Rural Transformation and Virtual Care Strategies plus oversees Community Medical Group, Collaborative Health Systems and Bayless Integrated Health as portfolio companies. Rajiv was most recently CEO of US Medical Management and Visiting Physicians Association until their recent strategic majority divestiture by Centene.
Rajiv spent a large part of his career at St. Louis-based SSM Health, joining as an Internal Medicine Physician. Rajiv held various leadership roles with SSM, including multiple Committee Chair and Board positions. He has served as Vice President–Medical Groups, Chief Medical Officer-Hospital Operations and Regional President. Through this work, Rajiv has become a champion of management through exceptional people leadership and operations through process improvement.
Rajiv is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Association for Physician Leadership, and the American College of Healthcare Executives. He also sits on the Board of the American Academy of Home Care Medicine and Sunshine Health Plan. In addition, Rajiv helps his community through the boards of multiple charitable organizations. Rajiv and his wife Kelly currently reside in St. Louis where they are raising two sons.
