Abigail Sassano is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Born in Connecticut, she moved to Arizona at the age of 13 where she discovered her love for learning Spanish as a second language.
She attended Arizona State University where she earned a Masters in Social Work. Following her graduation, she began her journey into community mental health, which at this point, has gone on for over 13 years. Working in community mental health has given Abigail the opportunity to treat individuals and families from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds, and facing difficulties ranging from depression to substance use to the effects of abuse and trauma.
Abigail specializes in creating rapport with her clients that allows them to face their darkest fears, painful experiences and habits, in order to reach their highest potential, goals, and (almost) forgotten dreams. She has also completed the Basic Training of the Eye Movement, Desensitization, and Reprocessing (EMDR) modality of therapy for the treatment of trauma. In her free time, Abigail enjoys yoga, dancing, and walking her dog.< Return to All Providers
