Courtney graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. She has a passion for working with adolescents and adults. She has worked in a variety of settings including intensive outpatient programs (IOP), inpatient behavioral health programs, and outpatient community-based programs.
Courtney believes that every person is an expert on their own lives and her primary role is as co-pilot on the road to wellness. Courtney has a warm, direct approach to help you feel understood and to accomplish your goals. She aims to build a therapeutic alliance through client-centered and strength-based techniques. She uses an eclectic treatment style, tailored to each individual patient’s needs including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
Courtney is originally from Texas but has gotten used to the Arizona heat–with its pavement hot enough to cook eggs–over the last 10 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, knitting socks, and adventuring to find the best pizza in town.< Return to All Providers
