Joshua has a Master’s degree in Counseling from Arizona State University and joined the Bayless team in 2014. He has experience working with children and adults but his current focus is with adult populations while also providing SMI evaluations. Joshua’s approach to therapy is based on what the patient needs utilizing Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and Mindfulness.
Joshua uses compassion, empathy, and the therapeutic relationship to help clients find inner strength. He believes in building awareness of how the mind, body, emotions, and behavior play a role in presenting problems.
Joshua’s hobbies include: chess, weight training, physical fitness, swimming, reading, writing, learning, and martial arts. He has a passion for sports and in his undergraduate studies he played Division I tennis at the University of Oregon.< Return to All Providers
