Julia is a Licensed Master Social Worker, having earned her Masters of Social Work degree from Salisbury University in 2018. Julia is passionate about helping others live healthier lives by increasing self-awareness, improving self-esteem, and developing healthier responses to stressors. Originally from North Carolina, Julia has spent the last several years living overseas working with military members and their families and is now excited to call Arizona home. Primarily working with children, adolescents, and young adults, Julia offers a supportive, strengths-based approach to working through past experiences and current challenges using techniques based in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Julia has a clinical interest in maternal and child mental health & wellness with experience in working with women/couples experiencing infertility and pregnancy loss, addressing the many changes faced during pregnancy and early motherhood, and providing support to parents of children with special needs. Julia also has experience in working with adolescents and adults in psychiatric hospital settings, as well as substance use and addiction treatment programs.
In her free time, Julia enjoys visiting her favorite coffee spot, working on DIY projects, and spending time with her husband and three children.< Return to All Providers
