Dr. Kathleen ” Katie” Brite has spent all of her professional life practicing broad spectrum primary care. Dr. Brite earned her Bachelors of Science from Arizona State University in Microbiology Summa Cum Laude, her medical degree at the University of Arizona Tucson where she graduated in the top of her medical school class, as well as completed her Family Medicine Residency at Banner University Medical Center where she was the Chief Resident.
Dr. Brite has an extensive leadership background including her previously serving as the Chief Medical Officer at a Federally Qualified Health Center for over five years. She also continues to enjoy having a faculty position at the University Of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix where she is the Assistant Dean and has the privilege of educating medical students and residents at all levels of training. She has received numerous teaching awards and was recently inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Brite has also completed a Fellowship in Faculty Development.
Dr. Brite enjoys taking care of patients of all ages and is particularly interested in community medicine and eliminating barriers so everyone has access to high quality care. Dr. Brite is married to a wonderful man and together they have three amazing boys who are all about sports. A sports enthusiast herself, she enjoys tennis, softball and hiking.
