Laura is a Board Certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Arizona State University, and then completed her Master’s degree in Social Work at Arizona State University. Laura has worked at denova since 2006 with several different populations including; children, adolescents, and families. Her current focus is with adults and the elderly in the Long Term Care population. She has clinical experience in personal homes, schools, community-based group and care homes, assisted living facilities, as well as, long term care skilled nursing facilities.
Laura has considerable experience working with depression and anxiety disorders, grief and loss stages, as well, end of life concerns. She uses a client centered approach and strives to develop meaningful working, supportive relationships with the clients she serves. Laura is passionate about providing and developing useful therapeutic interventions to those she works with, in an effort to improve their lives and daily functioning.
Laura has been married since 1999 and has two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking her dogs, traveling, and crafting.< Return to All Providers
