Lisa Chapa received her Master’s in Counseling and Educational Psychology and Bachelor’s in Community Health from New Mexico State University. She is certified in Gerontological studies and has training through the American Academy of Bereavement.
Lisa has worked in a variety of settings including: corporate employee wellness, community colleges, mental health clinics, hospice organizations, adult day care centers, hospitals and rehabilitation programs. She believes in integrating the mind and body’s natural healing abilities. She has Level I practitioner training for depression & anxiety through Life Force Yoga and received her certification for Holistic Nutrition from the Southwest Healing Institute. Lisa utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction as her primary strength-based therapeutic techniques.
In her free time, Lisa enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with her dogs and watching Netflix.< Return to All Providers
